I have notes for this occasion so here is copy-paste.
It may be the only time to use it so why not now..

Effective Prestiging.
(1) Look at how much prestige is missing from the gym getting to next level.
(2) Attack!
HOW TO CHOOSE PRESTIGERS:
If top CP in you team of Prestigers is A (i.e 1000CP), then any 2xA mon defeated (i.e 2000CP) is going to give you 1000 Prestige.
Bringing out (2xA)-1 (i.e. 1999CP)s going to give you 500 Prestige.
Bringing anything in between is going to give you a proportional value of over 500.

Guys, just some followup regarding Vectorious27. I have been checking on most of the gyms that I am in around Drogheda, East Meath and north County Dublin area, and he is in them all. Not only that, but there are a load of level 10 Mystic gyms that I am not in as they have been level 10 for ages, and he is in these too. There are some sweet gyms that are in the middle of nowhere that I have been in for months, and he is also there. This has all happened in the space of a couple of weeks.

I then checked on Gymhuntr, and any level 10 gym in Dublin also has him placed. He must be in at least 40 from what I can see up this way and what is in Dublin. I would hazard a guess that he is in most high Mystic gyms from here to the south coast.

So, based on what I can see and what has been reported here, I'm going to put a report in and let Niantic investigate. It'll most likely come to nothing, but the more that report, the more they may be willing to do.

What's the point of that, I mean really. You can only collect from 10 gyms, so on top of spoofing to get in to gyms, you're just taking slots from other players for no reason beyond being a bit of a twat.

Can't wait for this gym rework - got booted out of two gyms last night - had a look on gym hunter, both were grey, went to bed about 1ish, both still grey, got up at 07.30, both were level 8 Valor with 5 Blissey in each, took me feckin ages to kick the spoofers out.

I know the gym rework won't fix the spoofing issue but at least multiple Blissey gyms will be a thing of the past.

Also, went to transfer a Magikarp yesterday, hit evolve instead

Yeah, I've had some more spoofers crop up in the last two days. Reckon some of them are trying to get as many coins as possible before anything changes.

Absolute sickner! I think Reversal did the same thing with a dragonair on one of his videos.

He did - cost me a lot more candy though - I did get Outrage though and about 2000CP - might be ok for training up (Not that I ever use Gyarados for training or defending)

I don't normally look in Mystic gyms to see who is in there, but I checked a local level 10 Mystic in Blackrock (Dublin) and he's in there too

He's everywhere. The other thing is that most of the time I see him in gyms he has a Tyranitar. I'm level 36 and only have one of those, and only have it cos I walked a shed load during the last event when candy was on offer. This guy seems to have loads which seems to suggest he is botting all over the place :-(

He seems to have made a one off pass on Waterford and left it at that.

From my observations, living in a smallish town just outside Waterford city(with 9 gyms) - spoofers seem to target small towns in waves. You'll get blast of 5/6 spoofers at a time, they level up lightning fast, once they get knocked out you never see them again, they'll maybe be active for a weekend or 2/3 days tops. I've been living just outside Waterford since January and I've seen at least 7 or 8 waves of spoofers doing the same across all three teams. I'm back in Waterford city regularly and I lived there before moving and it's not a pattern I've ever seen in the city. I suppose when you think about it it's not a bad strategy, blitz a small town, assume its small potatoes, move on, just a pain in the whole for genuine players in said small town. I like to think I've done my best against them. Got shat on by Valor spoofers last weekend, managed to take out two level 8 gyms that had 5 Blissey a piece, all regained and still yellow as of this evening.

I had the biggest wave of spoofers yet, one gym was up to level 6 with at least 3 accounts I definitely know are spoofers.

Another point with him is that he has a tonne of perfect iv mons. The history of gym hunter allows you to check and there are many 100 iv dragonite and blissey.

Three new Instinct spoofers around, MarkyKratos, IamSuperCabbage, and darksiderTer. Hopefully whatever changes they make to gyms does fix this nonsense.

Yep, defo noticed fewer Ultras, but I would think I've seen a corresponding increase in Great Balls.

Also noticed a big increase in 2k eggs, and a 10k is hard to come by nowadays too.

These guys pop up down my ways (Cavan).
I slowly peel them down (busy life don't have time to concentrate) as I a battle a day.
Not sure they are spoofed s though in fairness, more like a big pusher together every so often.
Why do I say this.
At Yores shop (4km Dublin side of Virginia) is a gym, another in town and another one on hotel grounds.
They took the shop one, the town one but left the Hotel one......by car it's hard to access and also by foot....accessible yes but awkward.
So if they were true spoofers that wouldn't have been a problem from their bedroom.
So I say they are a team and not spoofers, but I could be wrong

is that gym on gymhuntr? in my experience spoofers only go for gyms when they know the location. not all gyms show up on mapping sites.
