Would you know of anyone that straightens forks in kerry or close to kerry? If you do please let me know it would be much appreciated.

Is that safe? Surely they should be replaced?

The forks may have twisted in the tripple clamps and yokes.
If you loosen off the clamps/yokes then the fork may well straighten itself with a bit of wiggling.

If the fork is actually bent, then it would need a new fork tube leg.

Yes, why replace when you can repair unless cost dictates?

They're basically metal tubes, it really depends on how severely they are damaged, if the metal's dimpled then new is the only feasible option, if it's slight then they could be stripped and rolled.

Metal fatigue would be my concern. That's why I asked if it was safe.

Mild bending won't fatigue them much, forks aren't all thet rigid to begin with, the clamps do that job, that said dimples, cracks etc are a no no, it was quite a standard repair not so long ago.
