Would be great to note who comes into it (assuming it's not yourself!) Just to see if there's a consistent pattern to it. I've noticed a few 48 and 47k mystic gyms around Dublin today.

Evolved my 100% dratini last night. 125 candies to get Steel Wing / Hyper Beam.

Yeah, we're gonna get left out. It seems as if the big locations are being taken care of regarding "Big Events!". To be fair, we're small-fry when it relates to worldwide locations so I didn't expect a big event for us but hopefully they make any new 'mon, i.e. Legendaries, available not just in these locations. I mean, don't give us the bg event but still let us catch them damn Legendaries without having to trot across the pond to the UK!

Although, wouldn't that be an awesome trip so that we could catch an Articuno, Moltres or even... Mewtwo!?

Yes but in what fashion would that be organised?
I dont know anyone else who plays, let alone any on team valor! Does that mean I can't take gyms any more? Seems a silly update. I regularly have between 4-15 gyms held as I target gyms with a slow turnover. I don't mind having to go and give a berry once a week to a gym deposited 'mon or something but having to attack in a group is nonsense.

All the gyms around me are level 10 Mystic. As I'm mystic myself I can't get onto them so they are usless to me. Even when I do get onto them, i'm normally near the bottom (with ~3000 CP pokemon) and get sliced off them within a couple of days.

Some local ones are level 5.
Anyway as soon as they are available I will take back my gyms anyway so what does emptying the gyms do except p!ss off the community?
I already have decided to stop spending money on the game since gen2 was brought in, so this is going to do nothing to remove my disenfranchised feelings.
