I feel sick as a dog and I'm biding my time until 8 when I can go to bed. Every minute is crawling by...

A petty, childish-no, that's not fair, no children are that bad-bad tempered, attention seeking gob****e has TA'd me today.
The kind of person who would complain about a cramp to a man with no legs. Other peoples feelings don't cross his mind. I don't get cross often but when I do I'm icy and people seem to listen. Not this one. It just feeds his giant man-trums.

    Ahhh that's better.... :)

Just had a massive row with someone who has no insight into my circumstance. People can't just go around dictating to you how to live your life. It doesn't work that way.

Winterlong you're right. TA at my current job and really want to leave but leaving for leaving's sake isn't right

Nothing worse, been in that situation myself. What do you do is there many jobs in that field going?

To echo earlier TAs - not getting a job I applied for.
I was cut out for said job - experience, education and had everything else they were asking for.

Had the interview, which went well.
A few days later I got a phone call saying: "They decided to go with somelse who wasn't put forward by us".
    Really? How does that work?
I had interviews for jobs I didn't get before but this latest one is a mystery.
I also asked for feedback from all involved. Radio silence is being maintained.

Maybe you can start the willy one? :):)

I have psoriasis in my stupid joints and it's worst in my feet, can barely straighten my toes and it's in all the pressure joints. I have a big event on Sunday and have a really beautiful outfit bought since March. I had an unreal pair of shoes bought but now they won't fit me. None of my nice shoes fit. I can only wear wedges comfortably. I've been shoe hunting all day and do you think I can find anything? The wedges aren't dressy enough. The stilettos aren't taking the pressure off the inflamed joints. The gross midi heel granny shoes are taking some of the pressure but look decrepit. And the one pair of heels I found that didn't absolutely cripple me were flipping up and down when I walked. Can't cope. Too stressed out.

Came home from town to find my boyfriend pouring the reminents of an old ketchup bottle into the new one I got yesterday. Not sure we are strong enough to get past this.

This might not help, but it's worth a shot - would you try some bridal shops? They often have shoes with fabric uppers that might be a bit easier on your feet; they might even have some dressy enough shoes in a colour you like.

My obligatory TA: Not as bad as psoriasis, but bunions, oh lord, bunions! And trying to find shoes (flats, dressy, ANYTHING!) that won't destroy you...

I waxed one of my legs but didn't do the other one. Now im booked in for a last min wax because I'm having tan done tomorrow, and I have two annoyances

I'm paying full price wax prices for one leg
I wore tinkerbell knickers today so I'll have to run into dunnes and buy a grown up pair of knickers incase your one doing the waxing thinks there's a bit of a want in me with cartoon knickers and a smooth leg
Why do I have to be so weird

One last TA for today. Hairdresser mirrors, and how they have the ability to make you look like the ugliest, most gremlin like version of yourself. Whyyyyy!

Somewhat tangentially related, for some reason I cannot take photos of myself. I've never been one of these photogenic people, but when I attempt one of these here "selfies" I hear the young shavers on about I end up looking like a homeless, ill wino who's had a stroke.

When I leave the car park at work, I need to take a left.
There is a distance of about 30 metres to the junction.
I'm in first after taking the left (need to stop and check nothing coming from right as it's semi blind)
The engine revs after exiting to the point where I need to go to 2nd gear.
I don't bother my hole going to 2nd as I have to stop anyway after 3 seconds.
Annoyed at the 3 seconds of rev's from 1st gear I have to hear before stopping.

TA x 1000, when I asked the person who thinks of me as their "go to" person for shift changes to change shift with me next week, as its one of my long term foster girl's stag weekend and I want to show my face for the last pm, she says of course! an hour later I overheard her complaining that SHE has to work an extra night to keep me happy and its not like its even MY CHILD.
Just cause I didn't give birth to her doesn't mean that she's not my daughter by now.

*am now a party pooper because I refused to go to a fundraiser for a colleague, Im a known animal lover and cant bring myself to go to greyhound racing knowing what happens when the dogs retire/dont make the grade.
    :(:(:(:(:(:mad::mad::mad:
