I waited sooooo long for an Upgrade, which I finally got a few weeks back to do my last item evolve. Hadn't seen one since - keep getting metal coats. But got 2 upgrades yesterday in my 7 day streak.

If people get dragon scales remember a Kingdra goes towards your dragon gold medal...

Got my pokego plus and it works ok - I'm such a high level now that quite a few pokes run away without being caught.

Funny story when I first got it - the thing usually flashes green when a poke is nearby to prompt you to throw a ball...well this time it flashed yellow and without thinking I clicked the button...afterwards I realise it only flashes yellow when you encounter a pokemon you haven't caught before...I check my journal and I see a wild girafarig ran away...the same pokemon that had me paying 100 euro to a thief while trying to track it down

I did get one from the same area a few days later, but was heartbroken when I first saw it in my journal entry.

Someone took 4 Mystic gyms down.
Had 3 of them for weeks and one for months.

Guess I best go off to battle lads......tell my family I love them.

But awakening to just 70 coins just made it so much harder to get out of bed.

Bloody hundred candies for Kingdra is just overkill. Am 32 candies away but have two dragon scales so 132 really.

Hatched two Chanseys in the last week too. My 2nd and 3rd after picking up a crappy one during the valentines event. Only have just enough candy for Blissey so the walking grind for powering up starts soon... After my Snorlax walking grind finishes

Just walked down Baggot St and thought I saw another Chansey! Only it got to catch screen and it was just a feckin sentret. Sun on my phone screen playing tricks with me again.

I caught a Ouilava in my living room, still no Cyndaquil :rolleyes: or any other gen 2 starters.

I hatched a lickitung earlier so up to 139 in the dex

All I've hatched from 10km eggs is Larvitar x3, Mareep x2 and about 5 of those ****ing boxing trees

edit - actually have two Chanseys with 20 candy so must hatched one of them too

Finally got a lipstick Wobbuffet

Also nabbed a Chikorita in town, so 8 candy away from another Meganium, while I'm not even close for my first Typhlosion or Feraligatr :pac:

That was this morning..hatched another Miltank after and then caught a wild one in Donore (outside Drogheda, close to Newgrange)...so when it rains it pours.
Got a Chansey too...which actually helped increase my Blissey which returned to me last night, along with three others.....hoping to get some of them back tomorrow after my traditional "leave them for 24hrs".

Need something special soon though....like an Unown event or those missing two Gen2ers finding a release.

Legendary event would be cool too, guessing it will be for anniversary time ...July 6th.

Gym work over I don't think will make much difference and as for P2P.....I don't know a second P so feck that.

Thoughts?

Ice and fire event hasn't started yet but picked up a lapras in town today. 6 candy for my prestiger (Draggykiller).

Also finally got an upgrade from a random pokestop and evolved my porygon...got the worst moveset but that's ok - another one in the dex.

That's a nasty experience at the best of times, hope you didn't lose anything beyond the money

Hatched 3 5km eggs to give me all rubbish today (Seel, Poliwag, Pinsir). Only picked up one 10km after those, so here's hoping I'll be getting some of that luck others have had, and I'll get another Chansey. Miltank or Mareep would be nice alternatively.

I'm encouraged by the gym rework not dropping yet. The longer it takes, the more chance of getting it right.

Just some lost pride...if you go back a bit you'll see my post on it, all in all not too bad considering I was able to get (buy) my stolen phone back. Would have been more cautious but didn't think daylight robberies took place often in Dublin.

Oh and Angron - a good poliwag can make for a poor man's machamp with a fighting moveset in poliwrath. My 2100cp poliwrath can almost take down a 2700-2800cp blissey.

And dewgong is good for prestiging against dragonite, that is if you have no laprases.

or, if you don't do anything in the game for say a week, then you should be auto kicked from the gyms.

Meanwhile, my small fella out yesterday hatches another tyrogue and catches another (4 now) togetic. Still waiting on both myself :P

waiting for a tyrogue myself too...currently on 227 with 232 seen. Need some good iv cyndaquil and chikorita before evolving so that's another 3 to go easily.

The sheep is almost done - will be going for a nice rack of lamb myself later tonight

Surprising that Ireland doesn't get more sheep.

NY trip coming up so will probably pick up a tauros soon

Farfetch'd is doable (family in HK) but Kangaskhan seems impossible for now...

It certainly will if there's a time-dependent aspect to when the berries need to be given. Some gyms, like in many parks, may only be accessible during certain hours.

But then the sight of level 10 mystic gyms across random rural locations, especially in places with no phone coverage like some of Glendalough, will gradually start to disappear.

Yes, that's the one. I got another Lapras a couple of months back on the same day and time, but at another nearby stop. Makes you wonder about the spawn pattern.

A gym related query, what was the name of the spoofer who was turning up everywhere, was it vectorious27? I only ask as they are in a few of the level 10 mystic gyms here in Drogheda.

Yeah Vectorious27. Was active at most 3 days ago.

So far, since getting confirmation it's a spoofer, I've noticed that gyms tend to be at or near level 10, even the same day the gyms were taken back. I've never seen that cretin in less than a level 5 gym either.

Makes me suspect that other players in the same gyms are also in on the act.

One was 47k, so I brought it up to 50, then noticed the name. He's also in a gym at windy arbour luas stop, but as you say, targets the high ones already in the likelihood of a long stay. That's some level of spoofer dedication.

Jeez, I've just checked my local gym that is within sight of my home and had been level 10 for months, and there he is again. Gym is now level 9 and 47k.

Nah, Poliwag had not great IVs or CP, and I've got some decent Lapras and Cloyster for dealing with Dragonite.
