I'm tone deaf. I can't play musical instruments, I can't grow a beard (the Taliban would fire me after a disappointing three years of no shaving). I'm a mongo pusher on a board. But... I do like beer and food!

So you got me there! Otherwise, my post is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I appreciate your interest and photoshop skills regarding my personal hygiene and life. :)

So, for me it's at least once a day. Usually twice. I tear through socks and underwear, but that's how it goes.

Maybe if I was a lazy eunuch that led a sedentary, boring life it would be less.

I don't have kids or play sport but I eat mountains of spicy food and drink lots of Guinness and see no reason why that requires a shower every day?

Hey Nox. It's very obvious, but you seem unaware that spicy foods increase body odor by making you sweat more.

Also, spicy foods, such as those containing curry or garlic, result in sulfur-containing gases when the body breaks them down. These odoriferous gases can be released through pores, giving the body an unpleasant smell for a few hours

Booze - as alcohol is broken down and moves through the body, some of it seeps out through the pores resulting in body odour.

Fire away with any more questions.

Spicy food and Guinness with no shower will give a fierce bang off your hole is what they're trying to say.

    .

Nope, still not seeing the need for this ritual of a shower every morning. Every second or third evening does me just fine. The thought of having to get up and have a morning shower is depressing never mind every morning.

Showering is an obsession for some going by this thread.

We aren't dogs, I don't tend to have people sniffing my arse.

They likely don't need to be near your arse.

It’s a fine balance between mental health and personal hygiene you have there.

Keep the chin up. Long weekend ahead.

I always feel much better after a shower. Life falling apart? Take a shower. But seriously, is there people out there who'd get out of the shower raging they bothered? Doubt it

It does piss me off at times to have to blow dry my hair every day.

How can you style your hair with day old wax in it?
I use wax and if i go to bed with it i wouldn't be able to style it

It's completely gone from my hair by evening, wouldn't even know it was in it earlier. I even sometimes skip washing my hair anyway when I have a shower if it's late and I don't feel like having to dry it.

You're a guy. Drying our hair is rubbing it with a towel.

Look after you're hygiene a bit more pro actively and you will find yourself attracting more girls. From what you tell us here, it looks bad on paper at least.
Id hazard a guess you're teeth dont get a clean either.

I don't have generic "4 blade all round" hair, without a good few mins with a hair dryer I'd be going to bed with a wet head and waking up sick the next day.

Of course I brush my teeth morning and evening and I don't need to attract girls as I'm in a long term relationship.

If you have longish hair and you put gel in it, it is 100% not gone from your hair in the evening.

It 100% is, If I'm doing something in the evening I need to reapply gel as its gone.

I have hair below my bra strap. I have neither died from pneumonia from washing it or over exertion blasting it with a hair dryer for a few minutes.

The gel is more than likely still there, just not holding your hair in the same manner but it doesnt just disappear after a few hours cos it has to be washed out for it to go properly.
