How long it takes for a reported post to be reviewed by the mods depends entirely on when the mods are online. All Boards mods, CMods and admins are volunteers, and as such cannot be expected to be online 24 hours a day. The reported posts are reviewed by the mods of the forum that the post was in or, on occasions when they know the mods won't be around, the appropriate CMods. The normal course of events when a post is reported is that a forum mod will review it and, if they feel further action is necessary such as a thread ban, card or forum ban, they will take it. However a very significant number of posts that are reported don't actually warrant any action and the mods are not compelled to issue cards or bans for every single one.
