Still haven't heard either way. Such a joke. I have called and emailed on several occasions but all to no avail. They keep saying we will be back to you in due course. It will be 13 weeks this Thursday since I did my asesment. Anyone else in the same boat?

Expect to be waiting until the last group starts. Anyone who hasent been told yet is only being kept incase someone pulls out last minute or else fails medical. There would be very few left waiting in this position. Its not really fair but they are keeping you 'just incase' in my opinion.

the 2011 intake was advised not to post stuff on boards or other forums when they joined, I'd imagine this was the same

I wonder will there be many applying again that didn't get through last year.

    Don't think I'll bother.

At the end of the application it says ''Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic'' ? I taught the position was general apprentice technician.

I got an email with an invitation to the assessment centre on Thursday. Have to go to Dublin for this. Does any1 know what this involves?

The Eir site says in the FAQ "The Assessment Centre day will involve a group exercise, an individual exercise, a face-to-face interview and lots more. You'll get the opportunity to meet lots of our people, both senior level and junior. You'll get a chance to find out what it's really like to work at eir and we'll give you an insight into what you'll be doing if you join us."

I haven't heard anything now since webcam interview, reckon I've got the boot!

Anyone else hear back from Eir? They told me that applicants would hear back regardless of whether they made it to the next stage.

Eir are recruiting again. I have applied but have heard nothing back yet. Figure it might be a while before I do.
