146 points and up to 1,238 OR.

Still have Eriksen, Yoshida and Tadic to play. Stephens or Barnes (1) will sub in if Tadic misses out.

153pts up to 463 overall. Hopefully 5 to play, need a southampton clean sheet and Ali to do nothing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,681 ✭✭✭elefant

130(-8) and up to the top 15k :)
    5 to play.

Barkley sitting with 10 on the bench the only annoyance.

Captained Jesus this week. Didn't even have Sanchez in my squad. Absolutely massive gamble. Everyone, and I mean every had sanchez in all the leagues in the position around me and lots had him captained, and some triple captained!

Checked the scores and fantasy points at around 9pm last night. Nada from Sanchez, Jesus with a goal and assist already in the bag.

    I'm quietly satisfied

Back to work for the next hour, happy as Larry. Go out for cup of tea at 10pm to check the final scores and points.

Ah well, roll on next season!!

149 (-4) with Kane, Alli and possibly Yoshida left. Inside the top 20k for the first time this season, over the bloody moon!

I only have one man to thank this season and that's Alexis Sanchez. He's helped me in such a massive way it's incredible. The GW14 captain hat-trick re-ignited my season, plus a few other big captain hauls and this TC mega-haul - a hero if there ever was one.

He'll certainly go down in FPL folklore as one of the all-time fantasy greats. Muchas gracias Alexis!
    Very similar to you.

143 pts. No hits. Up to 16k (from 33k). Inside top20k for the first time of the season. Kane, Alli, and possibly Stephens & Gabbiadini to go.

    Hopefully Dinnery's right on this
Puel confirmed Gabbiadini was rested at Boro. Expect a return to the match day squad.Ben Dinnery

131 points and mixed emotions. Still have 5 to play.

Felt I had the work League wrapped up but with my Chelsea players not playing and my only rival left overloading on Arsenal & City players, the gap has been cut to 50 points.

Plenty of differential left over the Spurs / Southampton games so hoping Kane doesn't go wild or the last GW will be nervy

135 points with 4 left to play. Up to top 15k OR :)

100 (-4). I was just outside the top 10k last week, back at 16k now and might still fall further yet.

Major captain fail with Aguero, and I have to keep reminding myself that it was a gamble to make gains in some money leagues, not to maintain OR. Still disappointed though!

    Dear Claude Puel,

Please pick Cedric and Yoshida to start tonight and deploy the same puke football tactics as per recent weeks.

    Yours sincerely,

129 with Kane and Alli to play.
Up 2k this week to 6k.
Holding my own so far against people with chips.
No players tonight is a worry though.

152 so far with Kane, Eriksen, Stephens and Gabbiadini to come. 5pts off the bench if the Southampton lads dont make it. Just outside the top 20k when I was 150k only 3 weeks ago. Not a bad end to the season.

    122 with Kane,Alli,Bavies and Cedric/Albrighton to go.
Lads all around me using more chips than McDonalds and I still stayed ahead of them.

I picked a bad night to have a social life. Although as a Jesus (c) it's probably for the best that I missed those late Sanchez goals and the Clean Willy Blow Up!

126 points and I actually moved up about 100 spots, sitting at 7.4k.

Fair play to those that captained and TC'd Sanchez but I can't complain that I owned him and Jesus. And Pickford. Holy crap that's a lot of saves!!

Yoshida, Stephens, Gabbi, Albrighton, Alli and Kane still to go. If they play...

    Don't own Sanchez.

    Hate this thread

Owned and captained Sanchez unfortunately others in my league triple captained him, never thought I'd be disappointed with 124 points with 3 to play tonight :D

146(-8) with Yoshida, Benalouane, Ndidi, Eriksen, and Kane to play. It brings me to just outside 25k, which I'm delighted with.

There was talk a couple of weeks ago about one's most satisfying season not necessarily being the highest OR, and that might be the case for me if I make a late break for the Top 20.

99 points with Davies, Cedric, Alli, Redmond, Herrera, Kane, Gabbiadini left to play.

Have high hopes for my Spurs trio but I'm still seeing red arrows in most of my leagues :o

106 no hits with Alli and Kane to go....do the business :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,206 ✭✭✭Lucas Hood

131 with Stephens, Alli, Tadic, Kane De Gea & Benaloune to play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,705 ✭✭✭✭Green&Red

134 and I still have a red arrow, down from 81 to 91. Top 100 have nailed this week

    138, TC'ed Sanchez.

Vertongen, Stephens, Yoshida, Alli, Redmond and Kane left.

I was over 100 points behind in a private league, it's down to 7 now. He's BB'ed and still has de Gea, Bertrand, Walker, Valencia, Redmond, Alli, Son, Gabbiadini and Rashford to play.

De gea won't play for certain. Valencia either . Rashford may start ..hard to know with the rest. Won't be much between the anyway when vertonghen scored his goal :)

77 (-4) Got Jesus & Holding in this week. And they've the only ones to get me points. The rest - 2,1,3 etc. - Fook all! At least my -4 worked out for once.
Hope Gabbi doesn't play tonight. Have Redmond on my bench

111 pts. Back to 8,367 after a few days in the top 5k.

Not gonna complain about that score and rank but I'm kinda lost interest for the season now. I threw away top 5k or better and a good few pay league places with a silly risk on Captaincy. Starting the week at 7k odd this was a time to follow the captain poll and go with the crowd and I took a notion to take a punt.

It'll play out from here and hopefully I can keep in the top 10k or better with a good (c) next week but I'm pissed off I threw away a best ever finish.

Your shout wasn't an unreasonable one. Everything looks worse in hindsight when it doesn't work out. I could sit and beat myself up for captaining Jesus instead of Sanchez but the truth is I never even heavily considered it.

I think the call was a valid enough one yeah, it's more that on review, not just in hindsight, given my position in paid leagues and the high numbers for Sanchez C and 3xC good strategy screamed going with the crowd.

Had Sane scored one of his chances last night and Sanchez blanked or missed out due to the knock I'd have shot up the rankings.

Looking at the ORs since the 15pts lost are only costing me about 2k OR but I've tumbled in a good few pay leagues.
