This kills me in so many leagues. Which in hindsight means it was a stupid risk to take.

Drop back to 9k or so after being coasting in the top 5k.

130 after bps and bang on 8k in the world according to fffix.

Having thought that my rivals tc'ing Sanchez was going to destroy me, I've actually out scored them tonight with Kdb, Sanchez and Jesus (c).

A good evening overall, and still have six players to play.

My aim for the season was to get a top 10k finish or higher so I'm on target so far.

97 (-4) with BB

Fuchs, Yoshida, Bailly, Alli, NDidi to play

FFFix have me projected to stay in the same position.

Given the scores here, can't help but think this week hasn;t gone great given I'd (C)osta too *sigh*

If Pickford had gotten the 12th save it would have likely meant 2 extra points. Think he'd have shared the 2bps with Sanchez or possibly took the 2

Could have been a truly epic night if Willy kept a clean sheet but literally can't complain :-)

Sanchez and City twice too.
It was Aguero last year with 25 & Sanchez 26 or vice versa (can't remember). Sanchez 27 & Jesus 19 this year. My original analysis of this DGW captain where I thought KDB was the best choice was wrong (he "only" got 15). Fortunately I went Sanchez ahead of them .

That said, if you only look at this particular GW in isolation (which I consider very much wrong but I guess everyone knows my take on this now :pac:), TC alone brought 27 points max. I presume the best BB are very similar to this. Again, looking at these over 1 GW alone make them almost meaningless. But over the entire period people have been planning for them, it becomes a complete different story .

Congratulations to anyone who TC'd Sanchez.

Sums up the season though. I have him, but TC'd Jesus. Kept faith in Alexis for the whole run-in. Even when people were dropping him. Then the one night he needed to not rip it up. A rival literally hasn't had him since GW30 or something, brought him in this week and captained him.

Just one of those seasons where it hasn't really run for me. I've made stupid mistakes along the way, don't get me wrong, but it's mad how some seasons it just doesn't click.

Either way, I'd say Alexis won and lost people a fair amount of money tonight!

I missed at least 5 deadlines this season, forgot to use my first wildcard and literally only had 10 mins to get my wildcard team sorted before the GW36 deadline. Still have bench boost for the last week too and have the lead in most of the leagues I care about, including the pay league.....

98(-8) with 3 spurs and Gabbi to play. My ML lead after tonight is down to 36. My OR will likely see me well outside 10k. Shame. Was on for my best FPL year up to this GW. Hopefully Alli,Vert and Gabbi can redeem it a bit for me
