    I saw it as an old 4:3 CRT monitor vs 3 16:9 monitors in a kind of super wide setup.

    The hair follicles get smaller in the wider picture implying your seeing more of the image. If it was thinner skin the hair follicles would be the same size.

    Then again I could be over-thinking it.
