    Seen this guy sitting on the path about to be squashed by some school kids. Stopped them before they could and placed him in a hedge.

    Does anyone know what type of insect it is, I'm assuming some sort of beetle but you never know.

    May bug or cock chaffer (sp?). Comes out late April, early may and buzzes around like a world war II bomber. Gone again in a few weeks.
