36 with 8 to play, only had Alonso yesterday.
Need big scores from Negredo(c), Kane and Aguero to make up for not getting Benteke.

The problem is we don't know which ones will be good sgw players and which ones will be average dgw players. I think once the player you get in plays twice you can have no complaints. If benteke had blanked in both games this week people would think it was a poor decision to get him in. If negredo blanks tonight again people will think it was a poor move. Lukaku blanked if he had hit a brace people would say why did you sell lukaku nobody will say that now. Some people would have done lukaku to benteke looks a great move others may have done Costa to negredo .
Yes. But what we tend to forget or at least not take enough into consideration is the context of the games.
It was a must-win game for Chelsea to keep putting the pressure on Spurs. While Everton have not much left to play for. For Middlesborough & Palace these games were key too. But then, current form comes into the equation. Palace were on much better form than 'Borough.

What I'm saying is these are things I certainly did not look at carefully enough before this GW. But I'm not complaining. For months I've been playing as a casual and I may eventually pay the price for it this GW. As I already said, I've nothing left to play for so it doesn't really matter.

But to see evreything going against me (planned or not planned) so far is kinda funny in the end :P.

Still on 20 (-4) down to 50k, still that's the beauty of the dgw I still have 10 to play, 8 tonight including 6 potentially in the Palace vs Spurs game, delighted its live , a Hennessy penalty save from Kane would be nice.

Sanchez and Kane are both big enough differentials still to be game changers tonight. I have Sanchez and will be hiding behind the couch watching Kane.

Negredo doing well would be lovely but weirdly enough he's only really a differential to my OR. So many people that I'm most closely competing with this week captained him also.

I have 2 Palace attackers and 2 Spurs defenders + Eriksen. I've no idea what I want out of tonight's game

A goal each from all 5 of them would probably suffice ? ;)

It was a must-win game for Chelsea to keep putting the pressure on Spurs. While Everton have not much left to play for.

Every game is a must win game for Chelsea to keep the pressure on Spurs. Costa's form and returns have still been shìte.

I agree with Busts. Hindsight is the death of intelligence when it comes to Fantasy Football. This game is about calculated, hopefully educated, guesswork of what's going to happen in the future in a fairly random and unpredictable sport

But it almost impossible to be objective about what was a good call or a bad call as the actual points returned so strongly colour our judgement when clouded by hindsight.

It's like people saying that using TC on a SGW player is a good plan cause the highest scoring players in the DGWs were SGW players. Hindsight. The most probable big scorers were the DGW players.

Ah come on! You're also using a lot of hindsight to suit you here.

Costa had 2 crap games in a row. Then he blanked home to City and failed as his whole team away to United. In the meantime he did have a good game away to B'mouth giving 2 assists for Chelsea 3 goals though. So it's not like he was finished.

And no. Not every Chelsea games were/are must win games. Chelsea games have re-become must win since they lost home to Palace (an acceptable accident) and away to United (pressure came back on them there). Because Spurs are winning every games and putting the pressure on them. When Chelsea were 10 points ahead with 9 games to go or even when 7 pts ahead with 7 games to go (after beating City) they did not have the same pressure.

Yesterday, had they failed to win, Spurs could have reduced the gap to 2 pts tonight!

I did not own Costa. But if I had I'm not sure I'd have taken a -4 to get in Negredo or Benteke for just 1 DGW. And without any hindsight, I can call it a calculated risk too. Many people did it with Lukaku considering his recent form. It failed. c'est la vie. Taking a risk does not necessarily mean taking a -4 ;).

Costa had 2 goals in 10 league games before last night and had failed to get any double-digit hauls at Stamford Bridge all season. For a 10m+ player that is poor form and those who shipped him ahead of the Southampton game were justified in doing so in my view.

Looks like Koscielny and Cech may be the only worthwhile options for 36 and 37 to go with Sanchez. Ozil too expensive and nobody else nailed on.

No rest for main Palace players.

Same with Spurs (bar Son actually!).

    Zaha, Benteke, Townsend all start.

    PVA still on bench.

Not necessarily. Gibbs will play games. I wouldn't bank on him keeping a spot in a 3 man defence. So him playing 4 games in 36 and 37 is far from certain.
