Can you not get someone to to buy for you, you can transfer the money to them via bank transfer.

Argos also sell some of the items on ebay you could check if they have the same price and get it deliver to a friend or family as they only post within Ireland or buy from argos.co.uk or Argos on ebay UK, get it deliver to Parcel Motel, Parcel Wizard, etc

Thanks....yeah, just trying to avoid asking someone to shell out for me. I was thinking the easiest way would actually be to get an all for one card sent to them and they can use that to pay. Argos take all for one right?

Yes they do take the One4all card, the problem could be by the time they get the card the price in the could be gone up in price or out of stock.

How is that even remotely a bargain let alone something anyone would want to buy(for those who can't open it's a €60 selfie stick for a tomtom satnav). Or was it just a deflection to post another non funny comment(which you have plenty of form doing)?

    In the same vein:

Silly question time. But is that really a good price for a small chiller ?

Have one of these and it's quite big.

Link not working but I assume it's the same 46 litre one

How long does it normally get things from argos that are shipped? Wanted to order washing machine but it's saying 10 days and they have them in stock??

When I ordered mine a few weeks back it said 28 days on the site. Had it delivered 3 days later.

You should get a call from them pretty quickly.

It can also go the other way around, we order something a few weeks ago, estimated delivery was for 28 days, but we got a call there was a delay and it would be another 4 weeks on top of the 28 days, they offer free delivery for the delay.

    Only €12.99!

Keep in mind- carbon monoxide detectors have 'use by' dates- akin to perishable food- after the elapse of which, they should no longer be used. Check out the dates on these- do not assume just because you have a CO detector, that all is good- you have to change it periodically. Check the 'use by' date on these.

Smoke detectors are the same, I think it is about 10 years.

I'd fit it in the hall and close to the bedrooms.

Definitely wouldn't put it up stairs;)

AFAIK the bast place is close to the boiler. You want to be alerted sooner rather than later to the presence of CO.

And at a low level- CO is heavier than air.

CO is slightly lighter than air. No need to place it low down.
