    I don't think they've changed. My Android phone can't be set up automatically, it's a bit annoying. Here are the settings in the sticky, which afaik match mine:

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=59855450&postcount=43
    3 Internet settings
    * Connection Name: 3 Internet
    * Access Point: 3ireland.ie

    3 MMS Settings
    * connection name:3MMS
    * data bearer: packet data
    * APN: 3ireland.ie
    * username: none
    * prompt password:no
    * password: none
    * authentication:normal
    * homepage:http://mms.um.3ireland.ie:10021/mmsc/
    * network type:IPv4
    * phone IP address:automatic
    * name servers (DNS): automatic
    * proxy address:mms.3ireland.ie
    * proxy port:8799

    The Internet APN for three is now:
    3internet

    While 3ireland.ie should still work the above is the newer one.

    You did'nt look much:D:D:D. Here are the settings I got on the Three forum earlier this week. Settings are the same for all android phones.

    "APN: 3ireland.ie
    Proxy: not set
    Port: not set
    Username: not set
    Password: not set
    Server: 3ireland.ie
    MMSC: http://mms.um.3ireland.ie:10021/mmsc/
    MMS Proxy: mms.3ireland.ie
    MMS Port: 8799
    MCC: 272
    MNC: 05
    APN Type: default,supl,mms"

    Thanks to Harpstilidie for this. It is a very slightly, but significant, difference from Earthly's post above.

    3internet no longer works for me, it won't connect. I use it to get a moderate Nat on ps3, any ideas?

    None of the settings seen here or on other threads worked for me. I contacted 3 who haven't a clue. Sent me the wrong setting completely & then told me as it wasn't a 3 handset that it may not work anyways. Retarded!
    What did work for me is as below (Phone: HTC One X)

    Name: 3
    APN: 3ireland.ie
    Proxy: not set
    Port: not set
    Username: not set
    Password: not set
    Server: not set
    MMSC: http://mms.um.3ireland.ie:10021/mmsc
    MMS Proxy: mms.3ireland.ie
    MMS Port: 8799
    MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
    MCC: 272
    MNC: 05
    Authentication type: None
    APN type: default,mms,supl

    Hope it works for others. Good luck

    Can also try a slight variation

    Name: 3
    APN: 3ireland.ie
    Proxy: not set
    Port: not set
    Username: not set
    Password: not set
    Server: not set
    MMSC: http://mms.um.3ireland.ie:10021/mmsc
    MMS Proxy: 217.171.129.002
    MMS Port: 8799
    MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
    MCC: 272
    MNC: 05
    Authentication type: None
    APN type: default,*

    Also try "tweakker" app which gives worldwide apn & mms settings

    3internet.ie and 3ireland.ie are both working for me on my Samsung Galaxy Note II, in Dublin, on prepay.

    Quick post to say this still works. Three support say the APN type should be "internet + mms", however this doesn't seem to be the case for the HTC one. it is for the galaxy ace 2 though.

    Download the Tweakker app from the play store and it will set it up for you.Make sure you have data enabled.

    A quick update to say that these exact settings work for the HTC ONE. Cheers.

    Atre those settings below still valid? I've tried entering the settings below on my new HTC M9, but no joy. I can't access mobile data. Do you actually type "default,*" in the APN type field? Sorry if these seem blindingly stupid questions.

    *edit*
    Sorted now. I was given different settings by a 3 customer care personage. They're actually o2 settings, even though 3 took over o2 recently.

    Thanks sheeps. You have been more help than a the shop and their technical support.

    I have a ZTE blade S6 and I had to change the settings three recommend to get data working.

    From this as it does not work.
    APN type: internet & mms

    To the one you recommend and it works
    APN type: default,mms,supl
