Surely dee isn't happy with him gone for 4 days so close to giving birth.

    Or does she care even.

Don't think anyone can tame this lad to be honest:)

When she has his child it won't matter if they split unmarried. She will be set for life financially.

Haha he's in trouble for standing on his rented rolls Royce. The son of the guy who whos the rental company wrote this on his Instagram post...brilliant!
A spokesman for the Midlands-based company said: “He is stood on the car acting like it is his own. It is not his own.â€
The extraordinary row first came to light when social media personality “Lord†Aleem Iqbal, whose dad Saleem runs the executive rental firm, posted an angry response to McGregor’s post.

In it he said: “When you own one Conor you can stand on it like Floyd until then you can lose your deposit for standing on mine.â€

Well this is a Callie Byrne model from Liverpool that google throws up. Looks like a fair few have searched 'callie bryne liverpool' as well as just googling her name brought up Liverpool specifics.

Some is some full on gossiping I'm doing here with this. Don't know why I give a ****.

Have seen the 10 second video I linked before. But no phone call. Would be interested in a link. As I'm nosey.

As long as he isn't a dickhead to his fans (and I don't mean the people who mob him) he can do what he wants, I'm the same age as him and if I had his fame and money I'd be lying if I said I'd be different.

Serious question how does USADA work if your on a break from fighting like Conor ?
Do they out of competition test him or is he free from that ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,663 ✭✭✭JoeyJJ

This is what happens when you leave your circle of friends that you said you never go outside of. The lads clearly got pissed off and headed home.

USADA not allowed test for recreational drugs out of competition, they released a fail for Jones previously however they shouldn't have done that.

I don't know the lad so his personal situation's and what he does in his spare time iv zero interest in , but in terms of fighting surely this can't be good if he's been living this life style for 6 months,
At the top end of sport most athletes live extremely clean life's I would imagine if he fights Floyd and it goes a couple of rounds he will be blowing out his arse or do people think it doesn't mater as long as he has a good fight camp ?

He actually looks leaner than he has been for a while, almost like he was before FW fights.

I know from personal experience that you can lose a fair chunk of weight going on 3 day benders, maybe the Floyd fight is going to be at 147 and this is his way of trimming down :P

The last time he went off the rails in this type of way was during the ACL recovery 2013-2014. He returned from that and ran through his next 3 opponents. The difference this time is that his likeliest next opponents surely have to come from a list of Floyd Mayweather, Tyron Woodley, Ferguson/Khabib, Cody & GSP (if he gets thru Bisping). GSP bangs on about his willingness to make 155lbs in every interview lately and he's not saying that so he can fight Lando Vannata....

It's one thing going through Brandao, Poirier and Siver like a train and quite another trying to do that to the best of the best.

Also, it looks to me like he has pretty much given up trying to push the Mac Life Fast system for the moment. He doesn't promote it anymore on social media and it's hard to flog a $300 cardio-system while you're on the lash every other night. In other news, being reported he bet 40,000 on the National - 20 grand each-way on Blaklion. It held on for a place so he cleared 20 grand profit. I've always wondered is he still punting big, I remember him posting screenshots of 1,000 euro accumulators when he wasn't rich at all and saying he used to lose his bollix to Paddy Power.

To be honest i hope his Floyd fight doesn't amount to much and he is beaten in a fairly boring fight and gets back to MMA asap. Selfishly i hope Dana takes the biggest slice of the money as that will mean conor will still want to return to the UFC for a few more paydays. McGregor getting rich is of absolutely no concern to me. Conor McGregor back fighting in the UFC is what i am interested in.

It's gonna make a good movie.hard to judge unless you've been in that situation , relentless siege from gold digging whores, you'd need to be a saint. Imagine he has to scroll through pages of flange every time he opens his DMs /Facebook messages.
Doesn't matter if you keep your original crew close either, fame and money change everything, people will say anything to keep the gravy train going.

I'm convinced even if he somehow beats Floyd, he's single-minded in his focus to be remembered for dominating his passion - Mixed Martial Arts. I think Conor has a different way of viewing what domination and P4P-GOAT-status looks like.

A lot of posters on here believe winning a belt and defending it against all-comers is the path to greatness. That's a reasonable argument and it was the Anderson Silva and Mighty Mouse path.

However, detractors would say that Mighty Mouse came up short at 135lbs against Pickett and Cruz. Anderson never really fought anyone at their peak at 205lbs and went 2-1 against a fading Griffin, a fading Bonnar and DC on short-notice. P4P is a subjective concept but at its core is the notion of transferring skills up/down weight, so in a literal sense winning championship fights in 3 or even 4 weight classes cements a fighters P4P legacy.

I'm fairly certain from everything I've seen and read on his journey, that winning the Welterweight Title is more important to Conor than defending the LW title. In the immediate aftermath of UFC 205, he seemed much more interested in Woodley than he was in Khabib/Tony, and only stupid people would view that as "ducking Khabib". You don't duck a 155lb monster to fight a 170lb monster.

To win UFC gold in 3 weight classes would be an achievement that will be borderline impossible to repeat. I can even see a scenario, if he sticks around long enough, where he embraces the weight bench and tries an audacious crack at the Middleweight strap. People will say it's outlandish to think he could compete with bona fide Welterweights and Middleweights, let alone beat them, (and I agree) but I feel that's what Conor himself thinks is a bigger achievement than merely defending his belt a few times.

TL;DR - I feel he has 1 more UFC contract in him. Possibly a 4-fight deal and it'll make or break his legacy. He'll already be remembered as a shining star who changed the game - but to be remembered as the GOAT he needs 4 more fights and to go 3-1 against elite competition.
