    It clearly isn't a Son assist. The ball hits off of a Watford defender and lands outside the box to Dier.

    Ball went outside the box, no assist will be given. Another yard inside and Son would of got the assist

    Never going to get that. The ball wasn't intended for dier and it was a deflection/block that took it to him.
    Only way he'd have got it was if the keeper had saved it and then fell to dier but that didn't happen

    I don't think the deflection took it off its path anymore than the standard criteria they're using for these things. We could quote examples all day either way, but that is part of the problem really, you never really know which way they're going to go with it.

    Either Son or Davies has to go for me to get Kane, and three Spurs attackers seems overkill. But Son has been great for me.
