    Hello, I'd like to ask that the following thread be reopened :

    It contained an interesting discussion on the merits or otherwise of Astronomy Ireland. Admittedly more than 3 years had passed without a post until yesterday, but it was then summarily closed by mod Beeker, with no reason given. Plenty of other threads are inactive for that long but remain open.

    First step is to contact the forum mods and ask for it to be reopened.
    IMO though it was a 2009 thread, that has been dormant since 2014. Well past time for a new thread if one was needed. So much of the information or even the posters might prefer to be forgotten about than being dragged up again. You could even link to it though in an OP if you really wanted.

    But again - first step is to ask the mods via PM.
