Chael P Sonnen says he has a source at Ticket Master who says there has been a "build" issued to the ticketing agent for the new MGM arena for the layout and seating arrangements for the Floyd vs Conor fight.

Chael is full of beans but sure look, worth throwing it out there for the hype.

The PPV incident (charging $5), the Mac Life Fast System, the Car-Dealership thing ......... those resulted in literally thousands of abusive and negative messages from his own fans across social media. None of the above bothers me as I don't follow him in person to all these fights around the world or pay for PPV's.
The PPV thing was mostly odd. Anyone who was offended by it would have just went the free route. Anyone that was lazy and happy to pay, well then good luck.

I'm not sure what the Mac Life fast system incident is.

Upon further inspection, a certain board member of HR Owen also happens to be the owner of SBG Tallaght, so I wouldn't rule out either Conor being more directly involved with the new Irish venture and/or there possibly being a physical HR Owen premise established in Dublin, anyway that's enough of my time spent on this trivial matter.
The same owners of SBG Tallaght that have caused Paddy to leave?

    I would assume so.

Did he leave it on a double yellow or what? Christ I wouldn't touch that if I was the tow truck driver.

He could have been pulled by customs if that hidden reg wasn't IRL one. Doubt he would put it on a double yellow.

    Customs aren't that stupid....

He probably left it on a double yellow and figured "Fúck the fínes, I am fines, you wait and see, I'll be fining all of yous"

Saw the motor in Dublin a while back and it has English reg alright but doubt it's customs

It was towed for being parked on a double yellow line, looks like Gardiner street near the junction with Talbot Street.

The shiny white building at the end of all the red brick is the SVP headquarters.

The tow truck is an english reg, so it wasnt a parking violation was it?

The market for supercars is dead here. Ask anybody in the motor trade and they'll tell you there's more money in ****e than gold.

Hopefully he's just being paid to be a mouthpiece

There isnt even the support network for it here let alone a market to sell into. Even a porsche...you need to travel to dublin to get main dealer support. Ferrai..off to Belfast with ya. I can get me TDI serviced down the road sure ted :P

The thing is in Ireland, unlike the UK and US, you don't have hundreds of young professional athlete millionaires with more money than sense.

Most of the very wealthy people who live in Ireland are happy to buy a high end Mercedes or BMW because they know it's fine to drive on our roads, won't break down every 15 minutes and you won't have random plebs sitting on it for photos when you're parked in town.

Forbidden fruit just announced that McGregor will be appearing on stage at the festival with special guests. Maybe Dee will be giving birth live on stage in a super car in front of 5000 teenagers on yokes.

John Gooden on The Notorious Conor McGregor

I'm not sure when this was done but it's interesting all the same.

What is he doing?  I honestly don't know if I'm following a world class mma fighter who's about to be a father, or a party boy.  I have the ultimate respect for one but not the other.  I get blowing off steam.  Seems like it's something more.  It's been great to follow him through the years.

When you're that famous it's a fine line:)

Hopefully the baby can bring him back down.

Anyone reading Jack Slacks book on McGregor actually? Gonna pick it up at the weekend, definitely my favourite MMA striking analyst.

Yeah, I always enjoy his podcast and fight breakdowns for Fightland. He's got a great knowledge of the history of combat and deconstructs fights in a great way.
Picked the book up yesterday. From the first 3 chapters it's pretty much what you'd expect based on his podcasts. A detailed analysis of the McGregor fights combined with lots of mentions of historical fights and helpful interludes with diagrams explaining the jargon and positions of MMA. In terms of source material I get the impression that he just read all of the other books and watched all of McGregor's fights and interviews so nothing new on that front. Still an enjoyable read though.
