2CV with a difference

A French (who else) cabinet maker has spent 6 years making this wooden 2CV. Fabulous IMO. I especially love the seats.

Wood's pretty strong stuff. I reckon you could fashion a car out of laminated wood that was very strong. It can be pretty light too. Nature's carbon fibre. Here's a wooden racing bike.

It was used a lot as a material in the old days in cars. Though I'd say he'd be lucky to get it above 20mph considering the weight.
