    I get the train and only know when to get off by looking out the window but I notice people sit where they can't see outside. how do they know when to
    get off ? do they count the stops

    The train from Portlaoise to Heuston Station travels so slow that you could jump off anytime...

    Next stop, it told us next stop, Pearse.

    This less of a problem than late announcements, on more than one occasion, I have heard DunLaoghaire called just after leaving that station.
