The idea of the season seems to be doing a twist on every build. It's never just a straight restoration anymore.

Have to say I enjoyed the electric Maserati. Knew very little about electric cars and the old tech vs the new tech was well explained.

maserati was interesting and I wasn't aware that off the shelf kits for electric fit out were available.
I also didn't think that a diy effort like that would have regenerative ability.
Looked like a piece of crap though the way it sat with all the weight in the back.

The Humvee and Cadillac episodes bored the balls off of me.
You just knew they weren't going to do the rally.

I can't remember the end of the Humvee episode, maybe I fell asleep... I enjoyed the bi turbo/motor episode, like others here I'm getting bored with the USA episodes.

That's that then and Aaron left fast n loud too. Anyone know if there's going to be a new season of deadliest catch? I search every week but no sign yet.

    :confused::confused: who?

Edd China was the one who kept that show going.

    Brewer was a 'wannabe' mechanic.

Needless to say i'll be switching off if the new guy is useless.

From the show for the love of cars..

Should of actually left him where he was because that show is actually better then wheeler dealers last couple years.

Ant is actually ok i like him but he won't suit this. He is alot more polished then Mike or Ed he is a proper presenter.

Probably not surprising... Ed was being pushed further and further out with the hatable brewer doing his own 'spannering'.

Hopefully Ed will get another show on discovery doing what he does best.

It's back on 11th April in US so I would expect a week or two later will be on Discovery UK.

Years ago one of the biggest complaints was that Mike was a lazy sod and Ed did all the work. Then when Mike started doing some spannering people were also giving out.

Can't believe Ed is gone. They've lost a viewer in me, that's for sure. Although when they started doing the US shows I lost interest.

Imagine a new show with Ed and Aaron! :D

Id watch that just to see the look on Aaron's face when ed goes spraying a quarter panel with an aerosol can.

That was an excellent episode that's why it dont seem so long.

I loved alot of the cars they have done and even tho it's probably edited just as much as the rest of them it is just more natural to watch or something

I'm really disappointed to see Edd gone, he was the main reason I watched it. In saying that, some of the more recent episodes were very disappointing, once they started making it to suit the US market and stopped showing us how complicated some jobs actually are to do, it all went downhill, so this just kills it off completely for me.

Was that the one that failed the MOT and they took a bath on? Had more holes than a swiss cheese.

It was the one that was so bad it couldn't be put on the road so they decided to make it a total offroader and make someone really happy while keeping a fantastic car alive or something to that effect.

disappointing news but the show had moved too far from the original idea for me. It became just another car show turning out fantastic cars with an equally fantastic budget rather than buying a cheap car, do a few odd jobs and turn a few hundred quid profit.
