    Hi there,

I have signed up for tutorials for one of the modules I am studying (I am only studying a couple externally) and note that it states on moodle, in red, that all tutorials must be attended.

Will I be failed if I do not/ can not attend the tutorials?

Given what you said is on moodle, it seems pretty clear to me that you need to attend the tutorials. I guess you can always contact the dept office and explain your case to see what they say. I certainly wouln't chance skipping them to find out at the end that they had a problem with it.
