The Hertz number plate surround would make it a magnet for thieves, renters/tourists equals cash and luggage :pac:

Two large Hertz stickers on the rear A pillars aswell

I had an Astra GTC up until October of last year, so at least I'm somewhat familar with the layout etc

So I'm back from NZ now! :)
Picked up a Touareg V10 TDI with the twin turbo 5litre diesel engine. In terrible shape, been keeping occupied with repairing, replacing and cleaning nearly all parts of it. Here it is on 28mm spacers all round, new air shocks, Audi 19" wheels, new tyres after a 100km trip to Carlow.

I like it a lot even though it idles like a 30year old tractor (by design allegedly..)

Been detailing my e36 yesterday and about to start the same today!

I'm loving every second I get to drive this thing....

Finally sold the Tucson. Badly needed a diesel with the commute to work so picked this up last weekend. One owner, 101k miles. 15 months test and taxed to July. 12 months warranty too. Couldn't say no.

Just gave it its first full wash inside out. Have to do a bit of detailing soon. But cleans up well and is lovely to drive. Did the plates and carbon badges, no other plans except a light tint on the back 3. Deciding whether to lose the "318d" .

    Overall very, very happy

    Carrying on the BMWanker theme...
She got a wash today, I've never had a car to get so filthy so quick before. A nightmare to keep clean. The wheels tend to kick muck up in the air and it goes up as high as the roof sometimes.

Did you have the wheels off the clean them? Just riding a bit higher on the front end. What's the ride like with the stretched tires?

I think it may be the angle of the photo.. it's not riding high on the front at all. It drove absolutely horrendous on stretched tyres so I replaced all 4 a few months back. I've now got a rubbing problem on the tears because of the higher tire wall... Its a lose lose situation with those wheels.

17" yep. Can't see myself selling them anytime soon! Car is for sale, wheels aren't!

You might have a better chance at selling the car if you changed the wheels ;)

Finally got a chance to give her a proper scrub after bringing her across the sea 2 weeks ago.
Only was able to do so thanks to the folks on the import forum here with their great help.
Alloys were a pain to clean as there was so much gunk inside but looks nice and sparkly.
Vrt this Thursday and should have the proper plates then.

I've seen your C7 around Newbridge a good bit, it's a fine car. It must be like driving your bed to work.

While I'm no fan of most Audis, I do think that model A6 (the one that got the mild facelift, really is a nice looking car. Very well proportioned.

Yours seems like a lovely spec too, Kaiser.

Cheers :) Yea I have to say, the little changes they made to the original C6 (like the rear light cluster) really make a big impact to the overall look.

The newer C7 model is just a bit too angular from certain views I think.

I'll just throw this in before the Audi's take over!!
In two minds whether to take out the buckets and give it a wash or put on the dinner!!
