Probably, but I did think it was an M Sport until the dealer sent through the full spec. Glad it's not as I was dissapointed with the wheels for an M Sport.

What colour is it? Looks like a pearlescent?

Those wheels are about 2.5k on an se I think.
Mad amount to spend on a 520d.
How much of that 13k is retained at the end of lease period R.O.R.?
    Very little I guess.

Needs a wash, but won't be getting one any time soon.

The corolla got the full stage one Father Finnerty tune up. Stripped the interior and gave everything a full clean, shampooed all the carpets and seats etc. Got a few bits to tidy it up like new plates, insurance disk holder, replaced blown bulbs in the dash and heater controls, small details but they add up.

One thing I didn't like about the car, was that it was not very planted or secure feeling on the motorway. Crosswinds and rain had too much of an effect. Worn 165/70 tyres and wallowy suspension weren't working. So to sort this I threw some slightly wider 15" wheels on it, new 195/50 tyres, new drop links, and some Eibach lowering springs. It's 10 times better now, and just as comfortable as it was. Cruise's along at 120k not a bother :)

It's like going back in time!

Actually reminds me of when I went to see the new Corolla in O'Maras in Limerick years and years ago, there was a reception area of sorts, well more like an office with a hatch. There was a woman behind the counter smoking a cigar, and she had the makings of a moustache. Most bizarre car shopping trip ever. Bought the Punto that day.

There was the common perception that Toyota were copying BMW with their styling back then with the mk1 Avensis and the facelift Corolla. Amazing what twin headlights made people say back then.

Probably because no one is bothered with them, apart from the odd weirdo like me. I'll probally end up spending more on suspension parts than the car is even worth :pac:

That story is amazingly Irish, incredible! Love it. Good thing toyota didn't copy the electronics in BMW's and left it at the headlights I say.

Have you still the Lexus and the older Corolla?

The Lexus I sold on, great car but too expensive to drive every day. The old corolla is safely tucked away yes, hopefully be getting it on the road this summer.

I'd love both! I have the newer GS and had multiple versions of that Corolla! Wish I could turn back the clock!
