    Hey dudes,

I normally use those Dunlop 1.0mm black ones, but they get wrecked in about five seconds when you do pick scrapes with them.

Any suggestions for a) similar but more hard wearing plecs, and b) good place to buy a load of them at a decent price?

    Thanks a million.

When I read that I said to meself, 'sounds like a job for carbon fibre' and sure enough, they're available.

    Give it a quick google.;)

Tortex are my go to (also made by Dunlop). I like purple (1.14 mm I think), green are 0.88 mm but pretty much the same stiffness as the 1 mm nylon.

Just look on Amazon for tortex, usually around £5 for 12 which I think is fair.
