If it were the standard poverty spec I would say don't buy or drive I've had very bad luck with their handling.
Cool looking and fresh alright wheels do look well also.

Cheers lads, lots learned and lots of changes still to come. Hopefully get out again on track this month, but I'll be up against it. How did your own car go afterwards Cheensbo?

Going for the paddys day out? Won't make it myself, raging tbh. I see flip has done some tinkering for you, hope it goes well!

It went great after Paddy, once the track dried out she turned into a different animal, reckon I did a few laps about 1:00 or so, which I'm happy out with for a first day out. Couldn't cook the brakes no matter how hard I went at it so I'm delighted with how it performed. Can't wait to get out again in it!

It is nice knowing that it's going home on a trailer either way though, good peace of mind to go out and give it socks :)

Almost there now, just need smaller tyres on the back and no spoiler.

When the weather is absolutely awful, the roads covered in huge amounts of mud and standing water, anyone sane sitting at home in the warmth. Only sensible thing was to take out the single most unsuited car ever for a first decent blast in about 5 months. Reminded just how little in the way of actual amenties the Pug has, and there were some real moments with a few lockups and understeer as 145 profile tyres are not designed to be pushed hard up a mountain, but I had a serious smile once I got to the top of the Vee. I really have no need for this car, and financially Id love to find it a forever home, but days like that make it hard to sell, although Id actually have to find someone mad enough to buy it anyway hahaha

My company car for the next week. It's "only" the ecoboost but I really like it. There's only 1200 miles on the clock.

Pfft, ecoboost, I'd throw the keys back at them.
Now's where's the keys of my company transit :D

The Ecoboost makes 300bhp. That's nothing to be sniffed at!

I think the chap was indeed suggesting that :)

Was infront of a yellow one of these near Mulhuddart this morning. Can't take to them at all.

There's a red one in Cork and the chap driving it should be a tad more discrete ........... known for cruising the ole red light spots (allegedly)

Just curious, I remember your thread about trying to sell it. Did you manage to trade it in?

Yep - got a price I was happy with for it and a good deal on the Skoda so did the deal last Friday :)

Lovely car, well wear. Did you go for any options? 1.6 or 2.0?

I hope you plan on changing/ditching that number plate surround? The green underneath it would drive me mad

We get the 1.6 for the moment as cost of change was biggest factor. (We are actually saving money on a monthly basis by changing between tax/AA/fuel efficiency and insurance)

The green surround will be disappearing!

No real options apart from the Privacy Glass and we also got the half leather / half suede alcantara seats. To be honest, the Style spec had enough in it for us :)

I think it's a great engine actually. Surprisingly smooth for a high power four pot. The auto box is a little bit lazy but still a nice drive.

I'd say it's something along the lines of Mazda's 2.3T that was in the 3 and 6 MPS cars. That's a smooth engine but down 40bhp on the Mustang.

Thanks. All going grand so far. They definitely picked a decent color.
White and Red is the only 2 colors the car pops in.

Wouldn't really want to drive a white cause i'd have to wash it daily at this time of the year to keep it clean :D

White is one of the easiest colors to keep clean

Not mine, but heading to collect it again soon after dropping it to a customer on Wednesday night.

Great to drive and interior is a fantastic place to be. This is an SE with over 13,000 of extras on - most expensive of which are the 19' wheels.

I have it in white, it's easier keep clean than my last black Mondeo

Would M Sport not have given more extras and made the car look a lot better for 13k?

Probably, but I did think it was an M Sport until the dealer sent through the full spec. Glad it's not as I was dissapointed with the wheels for an M Sport.

    They're "luxury" wheels aren't they?
