I have 70 from 9 players, Kane and Eriksen making all the difference. Just need Mane as my captain to do some damage Tomorrow to get the tonne.

I was gonna use my 2nd ft to bring in Deeney..but wanted to keep it for next week, hopefully it was the right move to make

Do tell us what you mean there!

My 87 turned into an 86 after bonus but I doubt that's the reason.

My rival has 111 which is easy when he has Kane (c), Lloris, Coleman, McAuley, Pedro, Alli, Fraser and Deeney (wtf)

Sooooooo the decision to get Costa in instead of Kane can be filed away nicely under 'F' for FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Somewhere there are Gabbiadini owners that are going to be in for a surprise :pac:

72 with Firmino to go. As my team is posted at the start of the thread, I can't be accused of making it up :)

Harry Kane stats in PL for last 2 and a bit seasons:

    2014/15 - 21 goals in 28 starts
    2015/16 - 25 goals in 38 starts
    2016/17 - 17 goals in 21 starts

Total: 63 goals in 87 starts (he also has 14 assists too)

Yet I'd say he has very rarely topped the captains poll with the exception of his 2 blanks in a week at home to Hull and Burnley.

Having looked at these stats I'm wondering should we be putting him on auto-pick as captain every week he isn't playing another team from the top 6??

This season his big scores have been:

    GW 5 Sunderland (H) - 9
    GW 12 West Ham (H) - 13
    GW 14 Swansea (H) - 13
    GW 19 Watford (a) - 16
    GW 21 West Brom (H) - 17
    GW 26 Stoke (H) - 20

I'm guessing he was not the top picks on the captains poll on 4 or 5 of those weeks - I only had him twice opting for other premium players with easier fixtures on paper.

His points per game is 6.6 which is close to the 6.8 I've got from my captains by just picking the best candidate each week. However his points per game in games with the teams outside the top 6 is 9.3 so far this season. Obviously 2 hat-tricks in the last 6 gameweeks help a lot but I think after 2.5 years we can call this 'normal' enough for Kane. I'm not sure if I'm looking this in exactly the right way but it certainly seems we should be giving Kane the armband a lot more than we do.

Actually dropped down the rankings with Kane 20 today to just outside 6k. It does show the amount with Eriksen and/or Alli in their sides.

85 with possibly Chiwell to play tomorrow night. Back to near the top off my main two leagues. Lot can change in the next few weeks though

    Jaku

    coleman pva brunt walker Alonso

    zaha Alli mane(v)

    lukaku kane (c)

56 with Mane and Grant 1pt to go.

    Yesterday I had 19 points.

    Today I have 73.

Spurs to the rescue with Captain Kane (40), Alli (8) and Davis (6)

73 from 9 players is decent enough.

    Holegate and Chambers didn't play.

49 (-4) +1 with Alli, Mané & Kane to go. If Spurs click on, it could be a great GW.
    77 (-4) +1 with Mané to go.

Kane redeemed himself after 2 disappointing outcomes. Makes it hard to drop him for Aguero next GW but that's not today's concern. Let's enjoy his haul as much as my 3rd tennis win in a row :D .

75 (-8) all out, thanks to the Kane show. He's a big differential for me in my work league, so not too bothered I didn't captain him. Hoping Mane stays quiet tomorrow!

His stats are amazing but Spurs are notorious for leaving us down when a fixture looks superb on paper.

49 with mané left to go. Not disastrous but a step backwards.
Getting rid of Pedro and Kane a few weeks back were both bad ideas evidently.
Baines over Coleman continues to hurt, I think he must be a good 25 points down on him since I made the decision.
    Back to 21k overall.

56(-4) with Firmino to play tomorrow.

Getting rid of Kane hurts, but it was part of a bigger plan that now need to be changed, obviously :)
