Dead birds.

OK bear with me on this one. Drove in to Tullamore this evening from the bypass via Arden road, Collins Lane and Clara Road. Along that route to the Canal bridge I counted 8 dead birds (blackbirds and crows or jackdaws) 2 dead cats and one other unidentified dead creature, all on my side of the road. Didn't think to look…

OK bear with me on this one. Drove in to Tullamore this evening from the bypass via Arden road, Collins Lane and Clara Road. Didn't think to look the other side of the road. What gives ? Is this usual or has something strange befallen these poor creatures. Has anybody else noticed this.
