Just catching up on the Bellator card from Friday night. During the prelims/main broadcast they talked about David Rickels... I always feel that if you're being built up solely on your walkout, you're in trouble from the get go.

I see Cage Warriors has been announced for March 4th in the point depot. I hope they price their tickets correctly. It would be great to see another packed out event down there.

I know who Moore is, costigan is local...other than that ive no idea who the rest are.

I made the point to a mate earlier that bamma has hoovered up most of the irish talent at the moment. It will take a while for CW to establish a decent irish athlete rota.

This will be on BT sports i assume.

I'm pretty sure BAMMA don't sign lads up to multi fight contracts though. They are free to fight under different promotions.

BAMMA don't pay fighters an awful lot. I think the exclusivity deals only work if fighters can make a living from being signed solely to one organisation.

I think Cage Warriors did that in the past and I believe was one of the reasons it became unpopular with fighters.

Wow. I paid through the nose for tickets for UFC London and the main event I'm getting is Corey Anderson v Jimi Manuwa, and the headline for Bellator London is Macdonald vs Daley....

Gutted I've paid for the UFC now... Oh well.

Bellator is going to be in Turin in April. Stones throw from Malta so I'll be heading to that I think

Great main event. Almost regardless of what the undercard is it's probably going to be a better card than the UFC one.

Don't write Daley off in this one. Very good matchup, probably one of the best matchups Bellator can make right now, strange they're having it in the UK. They better have a good tv deal in place by then so it can be watched live on Spike or channel 5 etc

Aaron Pico was talking about Gallagher recently. He's seen as an incredible prospect, extremely high level wrestler and supposedly won some boxing and Pankration tournaments when growing up.

Hasn't fought yet though so it's all just hype at the moment but he was signed to Bellator a few years ago, was trying to be the first teenager to qualify for the US Olympic team (didn't make it) and is currently injured.

But they'll let him crush a few other inexperienced guys first.

Gallagher is still extremely young so I'm ok with bringing him along slowly but I'd at least like to see him fight guys with passable winning records.

It's a great main event, but I think people need to wait before they claim its better than the UFC's card. The undercard could be ammy stuff.
Maybe the main is all that matters, I dunno.

It's fairly clear that Bellator are pushing a lot of these "beefs". But man, it's embarrassing. He's a young impressionable kid, and probably hasn't got enough weight to call any sort of shots with Bellator. But going along with the smoke and mirrors so far is going done the WWE route - which is Bellator all over tbh.

If the above posts get 50 likes, Scott Croker retweets both guys saying "lets give the fans what they want"
Bellator Announces the fight and spams the "beef" between them on social media
