Engine Oil question

    Heyho...

Can anyone recommend 2 stroke engine oil for the Losi 5ive-t 29cc engine?

Hobby oils it seems are way expensive and tbh I don't think as good as motorcycle engine oils.

    Any advice would be great.

I can't speak for that particular engine, but in many model petrol 2-stroke engines I have used Marine-Outboard 2-stroke oil.

The marine is of a higher quality standard than the standard 2-atroke types due to water cooled engine having a high rpm and a great variance of internal temperatures. This standard is denoted by the code "TCW-3" on the oil container.

But I'd think that ML-70 or EDL in the model engine oils would do fine too while costing more.

What does the manual for the engine say?
