Interface for MacBook

Hey Guys, Looking for suggestions on a cheap Interface (For an electric) that would work well with a Mac Book. Basically I'd like to jam with a friend online through Face Time. Anyone know if this is possible without any delays etc? Any recommendations on programs I could use? Cheers!

I dont think facetime would work
