Never threatened at all. Only Mark Dudbridge (3pts) picked up any points over the four days.

A great effort by some of the Irish lads over there - Steve Lennon had picked up enough points after Day 2 to virtually guarantee a card and went on to win a card outright on Day 3. Mickey Mansell's consistency saw him pick up his card on total points (14pts). Radek Szaganski (8), Dean Forde (6) and Nathan Rafferty (3) not enough to get a card but plenty to be proud of!

Disappointed Radek didn't get a card. A sound man that I've played against a few times, ran him close on occasion so if he had got a card I would have felt better about myself :)

Dean Forde is still very young, he's a real talent and I expect him to get a card in the future.

The tour is way too big tbh, it's a bit like snooker in that regard. There's isn't the money there to have 128 players. Anyone outside the top 64 is not breaking even, it's an expensive weekend hobby. Entry fees, travel accom. I don't know how anyone does it without a sponsor or some form of backing.

Who's really making a good living, top 32 guys only I'd say.

There should always be more players trying to make it as pros than there are pros making a profit, sign of a healthy eco-system ultimately.

35 players earned £100K+ in the two year money list - 51 players earned £60K+ in the same list. Cut-off point for making a decent living from prizemoney is probably somewhere between those two points.

MVG is probably skewing everyones income downwards as he is grabbing somewhere around 9/10% of the prizemoney on his own by turning up for every bun fight.
