Living near Clonmel for 8 months and need recommendations!

25-01-2017 06:29PM#1Hello kind people of Boards.ie, my SO and I have just arrived in Ireland and we will be living near Clonmel (Newcastle) for the next 8 months or so, working on a house renovation project. We could do with some recommendations about what's available around us!
Is there a good café that also has speedy free wifi?
Where is the best value hardware store or place that sells DIY stuff?
Affordable good restaurants in the area?
Any suggestions most appreciated
