Hello kind people of Boards.ie, my SO and I have just arrived in Ireland and we will be living near Clonmel (Newcastle) for the next 8 months or so, working on a house renovation project. We could do with some recommendations about what's available around us!

Is there a good café that also has speedy free wifi?

Where is the best value hardware store or place that sells DIY stuff?

Affordable good restaurants in the area?

    Any suggestions most appreciated :)

I've always found Bob Fitzgerald in Clonmel to be very helpful for hardware/DIY stuff you may need.

There is also a Woodies in town.

I can't make recommendations about restaurants but whenever I've had a meal in any of the pubs serving food it's been an okay experience.

Cant't help you with places for wi-fi.
