In the era of dash cams why do people behave like this on the road?

The average idiot is either oblivious to their existence or couldn't care less.

Overreaction from the bmw but the clio pulled out in front of him
not exactly, there were two lanes the Beemer had the right the Clio had the left, no real issue there.
it was the merge later where the Beemer tried to force his way in in front that the rage started.

I nearly bought a BMW once.
How soon after buying it do you turn into an asshole.
Surely you'd be the same asshole before you bought it,no?

Doesn't matter, your driving was worse than the lane straddler.

Very late exit by these 2 cars, possibly together? Not too bad but the 2nd car almost came to a complete stop in my lane, with another car to my right I had nowhere to go. Was alot closer than the camera makes it look.
My car was still heating up so the camera lense was a bit foggy.

Too busy on the phone to be staying in their lane without drifting

The price you have to pay for having your own lane :)

Too bad you cant follow he conversation between the filmer and the police.

    Longer version

No injuries and alcohol tests showed no alcohol in play.

20 km/h on one of, if not the busiest, motorways in The Netherlands. (short version)

    Hi All,

I have a Mini 0806 for about 1 year now. Happy enough with it. I have 2 x Samsung 64GB class 10 SD cards in it. It works away happily for a few weeks & then throws a wobbly. I get 3 loud beeps repeated & a message on screen for FRMT card. Once I format the cards , it works away happily again. I have formatted them in the dashcam & also in an adapter in the laptop but neither makes a difference. Also updated the firmware on the dashcam. Cards are genuine. Anyone else have this issue.

    Thanks,

    T.

that is not suitable for this thread, This is for dash cam footage and talking about said footage.
quick search and you will find this is more appropriate place to pose your question.

Bizarre driving but endorsed and defended by some posters here. ("limit not a target", "I'll do whatever speed I feel like once it's under the limit" etc).

Not sure yer man was helping things by shadowing the person, I would have got the flock outta there before ringing it in.

    Agreed.
Having an additional slow moving vehicle in close proximity to the nutjob means more chance of approaching drivers being distracted.
My Dutch isn't great. Did the police dispatcher tell dashcam guy "thanks, we'll take it from here, on your way?"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,860 ✭✭✭✭inforfun

Dispatcher never told the filmer to leave and the filmer explained exactly what he was doing. Actually asked him to check on the driver in the A-class after dashcamguy confirmed the other driver was out of his car.

Dispatcher was informing about the police on motorbikes position who were on their way.
That car was already going like that before the dashcam guy picked him up. Not because.

Pity the description of the driver was taken out of the soundtrack.
