Altering Jerseys

Anybody know of places where I could get my regular fit jerseys altered to player fit? I was thinking of trying the zip yard.. Anyone have any experience in altering jerseys and what the outcome is like? Thanks in advance

I've brought soccer jerseys to a dress maker and she cut it down to a slimmer fit. I'd say it would work similarly with GAA jerseys
