Can a joint account be made if one person is residing in another country? Myself and my partner both have BOI current accounts but want to open a joint account. He is currently working in the UK and will not be back in ireland until July. Is there any way this can be done via phone or other means?

    Thanks.

    Good Afternoon anna080,

Thank you for getting in touch with us here.

I've just spoken to our account opening team regarding your situation and they've advised the best thing to do would be to give them a call directly so that they can check some further specific information with you to provide you with the best advice. You can reach them on 1890 35 44 54 or +35314044034 and they are available from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

    Thanks again for your post,
    Elaine
