I have a Netatmo weather station with wind and rain gauges added on.

It was the low budget option compared to my (well work's) old Davis Vantage Vue. However it is way easier to set up and integrates far easier with the like of Smartthings and Home Assistant. I had the Davis talking to Weatherview on an old linux box via a USB connector. From there it shipped out data to CWOP, Findu and aprs.fi.

The Netatmo is accurate compared to Met Eireann's station a few Km down the road, which surprised me.
What I don't like about it though is you can't access the info locally, it gets shipped to the cloud first and then you access it via app or website.

Some data from the old site:
    http://aprs.fi/weather/a/EW1181
    Netatmo's Weather Map
Click in on the stations to get more info per site.
