    The match ended 0 - 0 between SL Benfica and Barcelona in their Division 1 fixture.

    Muslera had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.

    10/10 from my goalie :pac:

    Okay, I think there seems to be a lot of confusion between which system should be employed, and why the new system voted in has suddenly been employed with out warning which, I admit, was slightly (by which I mean entirely :pac:) my fault.

    For this reason, I'm calling a snap vote on whether the new system should be implemented now, or at the start of next season. In other words, have I made a f**k up, or was I okay! :pac: :pac:

    Ireland beat Albania 2 - 0 in their SMFA World Cup Qualifiers Group 5 fixture.
    Coleman scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.
    Walters was also on the scoresheet for his side.

    Top of our qualifying group with three games left. That said though, it is a very close qualifying group with just 5 points separating us from Moldova in fifth (of five).

    Oh I know yeah, I saw that. ;):) I already beat ye in Dublin though so even if I lose away it's okay. Just need to beat Moldova and Ukraine really.

    Gentleman's agreement, just refuse to deal with someone who is over the cap!

    I think it would get this game world ticking over again.

    Emre Can is available at Fiorentina,

    I would prefer a CD who could also maybe cover left or right back and/or a striker,

    Ideally I am looking towards Liverpool fans who would be willing to pay over the odds :D

    Squad cap... nope.


    You can chose not to do deals with teams that breach what you consider to be a fair squad cap...

    Might get even lonelier for ya in russia tho.

    The way you'd do it is we all agree on a max number of players. Youth don't count, so you could have 500 players in your youth team.
    Then decrease your squad to the agreed amount of players.

    No one in this GW needs more than around 35 players in total!!!

    Very hard to implement squad caps now. I've 93 players. About 30 are youths. Do I just release players?

    I'm in favour of a squad cap myself but it's not feasible to introduce it after ten seasons - some lads have been building squads for years and waiting for youth purchases to pay off, some lads hoover up hundreds of youths in the hope that some of them will be the next superstar in the making, it wouldn't be fair to force guys to trim their squads all of a sudden

    A squad cap is something that should either be introduced from Day 1 or disregarded I'm afraid

    The thing with youth not counting is a good idea in theory but what happens if twenty youths go over 21 but they are all looking fairly decent? A manager shouldn't have to cast off some players just because they are a year older
