Would love if they were patching in wii u pro contollers.

They'll let you use the GameCube controllers a few months after launch when the GameCube virtual console is announced at e3.
By using a family members staff discount :pac:

Aw man. :( Can they get one for me too?

As proposals go, that's at least 20% more romantic than "y'know, for tax purposes". Kudos!

No, absolutely not. Sega stopped making hardware because they'd a lot of hardware that was considered failures, and terrible financial results over several years.

We don't have to worry about Nintendo until the release an hardware add-on that sticks onto or into their current home console.

Might switch the Wii-U, it gets no use lately. I'd like Mario Kart on the go instead. Is Mario Kart day one?

This one I'm really looking forward to! Really loved Wonderboy in Monster Land and the original Wonderboy and The Dragon's Trap.
Plus this one features some music by our own Banjo Guy Ollie

Oops... I confused myself there, it's actually MonsterBoy that BGOllie was working on! (Former Wonder Boy devs I believe)

kotaku had a Q and A with the Nintendo found this part interesting
The Nintendo Switch system has 32GB of internal NAND memory, a portion of which is reserved for use by the system. The system’s internal memory can be easily expanded as needed using microSDXC cards.

The SDXC standard supports up to 2TB of storage. (Note that 2TB cards are not yet on the market, but Nintendo Switch will support them when they are.) External USB hard drives are not supported at launch, but we are researching the possibility of supporting them in the future.

If no microSDXC card is used, everything is stored in internal NAND memory. If a microSDXC card is used, game save data is stored in internal NAND memory while data that can be redownloaded, such as digital games, game updates, and DLC, is stored on the microSDXC card. Nintendo Switch game cards are non-writable; game save data is stored in internal NAND memory.

hope they sort external HDD support fast, much rather use a HDD than buying SDXC cards

lot of Nintendo responces were vague but full Q and A @ http://www.kotaku.co.uk/2017/01/20/nintendo-answers-and-avoids-our-switch-questions

I haven't been following the thread the last few days but there seemed to be some confusion over Gamestop asking people for more money for their pre-order. I called into the Gamestop store where I pre-ordered prior to the Switch reveal. I asked if I had to increase my deposit from €20 to €50.

The woman working there explained that that was all a misunderstanding. The Gamestop staff were given a new directive to take a minimum of €50 for Switch deposits. Some staff thought they then had to go and get additional money from existing customers with pre-orders and a deposit below €50. Apparently, that was never the case and was simply a badly communicated policy change. Anyone with a pre-order taken out before the pricing change is fine and no additional payment is required until collection of the Switch.

Don't blame Panasonic for the CDi, that was Philips' fault.

God imagine trading a PS4 Pro in for it.

You'd get an extra €50 cash for the regular PS4 unboxed in CEX than here. Are these real? They don't add up

EDIT: qouted the wrong person. I ment the sheet with the prices on it. CeX will give you €148 quid for a PS4 unboxed. That would be a switch for €180 or so :/
