Nothing only the red jeep parked obnoxiously but it's Longford and that's the way they rock! I often stopped outside Deli Burger with an Artic and nobody would bat an eyelid!

Took me a minute on 2nd video, Black VW parked on double lines on the corner and the Renualt doesn't know where they are going. Drifts back into the right lane and decides to use indicator a bit late.

I was just transfixed on the tacky VW badge modification on the Passat in front! :D

Two close ones today . In the first clip the driver attempted to reverse out on top of me ,and luckily I was quick to reverse or it was BANG .

In the second clip ,well I think the video speaks for itself .

The exit markers on/after the turnoff should be removed, it would cut down at least some of this crap.

Putting up those bollards that enforce lane separation where the solid lines start and end would be far more effective.
Some are just as bad at the merges where they jump onto the main carriageway before the "official" merge, usually then then jump strait into lane two and then dawdle!

First attempt at uploading a dash cam video, nothing major, just the usual cut off at this roundabout which is more common than not!

It's not illegal to do what he done. Maybe driver theory books need updating as roads have changed.

Edit:....yes that's a cut off. I thought you were posting as he drove straight on. My bad

I totally agree. They would also deter queue jumpers. Quite a bugbear during rush hour queues on the off ramps. I have seen a number of these bollards flattened in various places, though!

Drivers will only make that mistake once and most will be forced to go to the next junction to turn around, the rest will have some damage to their cars and possibly a bill from the TII to replace the bollards if caught.

PS: that's a mad looking road sign in the top right of the photo.

They won't, as the sight of them will deter them from making the last second manoeuvre to avoid damaging their car.

seeing cyclists break a red light or mounting the footpath is a common occurrence. However this morning on my walk from the car to work, I seen one of those bikes with the box for kids in the front (like the one in the image attached), mount the footpath, and break a red light, while her 2 kids not older than 5-6 were in the box at the front. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The junction was the crossroads at the beacon hotel, if anybody knows that junction, you know how crazy and dangerous it is at rush hour.

"into fashion"? You could see them in Dublin for years, can't be too much of a plague if you've never noticed one.

It is a rather specific kind of people who drive those things in The Netherlands. They are (part of) the plague.
Nope. Havent noticed them here yet but that could be due to the times of the day i am on the road. And the area where i live.

What would folks here do with footage of a multi-millionaire Irish "celebrity" brake checking them? :D

2 lane road, "celebrity" drifts into my lane, clearly visible in clip as his tyre goes over hatched line and then THEY lay on the horn, speed up, pull into my lane and lay on the brakes?

Face is not in the clip, but it's definitely the person.

Aye, but if I say who it is, there may be defamation etc brought into it.

Is brake checking somebody like this something that could make the person lose their license? Has anyone here brought such footage to the Garda before and what has come from it?
