Name Change

I see that the Pearl which has been the support vessel to the Kinsale Gas rigs for a good number of years has undergone a name change and is currently berthed at the south jetties. She's also been registered as Libierian with Monrovia as her home port. Will this be last we will see of her I wonder?

Ocean spey replaced her,65m long ,15 m beam.very high bridge. I think the price of those standby ships is down with the downturn in the oil business so it was probably bought at a good price

They got the year the Pearl began operations at the KGF wrong, not 1985, think it was around 2001. I was on the Supplier in the late 90's up to around that point.

Correct, she was built in 1985.
