That top 10 video, i could somewhat understand the guy at 5 (at 8.14).
    undertaking on the hard shoulder.
Is a big No,No of course but when you have 2 trucks passing each other with about 1 mile in speed difference between them, my blood pressure reaches unhealthy heights too.

But then go and start break testing a big huge ****ing truck.... That is Darwin Trophy material.

I drive trucks for a living and I can totally understand the guy's frustration, the guy overtaking the white truck is a bellend for staying out for so long and so is the guy in lane 1 for not easing off and letting him off...

I would never consider such a manoeuvre unless I knew the guy would ease off and the road was empty...

It is only the first day of the new year but the muppetry continues.

The N71 north of Bantry is a series of S-bends. No safe overtaking possible. The driver of the Toyota, probably exasperated by the slow driver in the Renault, decides to risk a couple of lives in order to get ahead.

All lanes of traffic have a green light, but nothing moves. Why? The driver of the black Opel right at the lights has apparently missed his exit and is trying to turn back against the traffic (but the other motorists are having none of it and he has to back off).

You can see the Opel beginning to steer left just as I am coming to a halt behind the Range Rover.

That video from Bantry is ridiculous. It can be frustrating to sit behind a slow moving vehicle, but you just cannot take risks like that. Besides, on roads like that you're likely to be sitting behind someone else at around the next bend.

According to the description/comments it was an off duty Garda, cammer opted not to press charges and he got cautioned

    "He" being the aggressor?

    From the video description

No sound, sorry. This was instant karma for road rage bully at the Park, Carrickmines on 2nd January 2017. Time and date stamp on video is incorrect. At 2 minutes in, he pulls up alongside me and starts hurling verbal abuse out his window. Why? I've no idea as my driving up to that point shouldn't have upset anyone. Then, he got out of his car and attacked me through my open window landing 2 punches. I managed to get out of my car and land a combination of rights knocking him to the ground. As i wrestled on the ground a bit and landing another right, a good samaritan and a plain clothes Garda came to assist.

decided to publicly shame him instead of pressing charges. no point wasting my time and the Gardaí time on a muppet like this.

Dash cam comes in handy to back up his story too.

Guy with camera was the idiot
Out looking for trouble with his dash cam
    He found he
    Well done to him
Got the hump at roundabout because silver jeep didn't clear is as traffic backed up
    What a child
He then was trying his best to whine up silver jeep and cut that guy off in process

Regardless of that, it does not excuse the road rage involving getting out of your car and punching another driver in the face while he's in his car. That type of person shouldn't have a licence. I see loads of crap on the road most days and wouldn't bother reacting beyond a quick beep or a flash of lights.

    Guy cut him up
    Camera doesn't show that
It shows him going right up within contact of jeep and brake aggressively twice. He was behind silver jeep, then switched lanes and cut guy off.
All while dressed for the 80's and smoking.
He caused his own problems there.

    Holy crap! What a video!
The dashcam guy starts driving a bit funny at about 1:45 he speeds up and closes in on the Volvo, I can't see a reflection but I reckon the BMW SAAB driver was trying to squeeze his way in here and the dashcam guy closed the gap,
Still not excuse for doing that though!

I sometimes wonder what people in this thread see.
Guy was acting aggressive because silver jeep didn't clear roundabout
That can happen in traffic. What does he do, drives right up to him and brakes heavy. He then comes out of lane and tries to get up beside silver jeep. He then drives right up behind jeep within an inch and brakes again.
He was acting like a child.

I think he was too close to the car in front also. My Dashcam usually make a gap look bigger and it appears very small on video so the video car must be very close. Getting cut up is still no reason to EVER punch another driver. Your last sentence is irrelevant. Not gonna bite any further.

He was very smug for a man wronged
He knows why it led to what it led to
Do you really thing merc driver was deranged and came from nowhere
He had plenty of reason to be angry with way that guy was driving
He cut him off and then had a smug attitude
Didn't put hand up in an apologetic way, he just kept winding guy up with hand signals.

I propose a 24 hour chat ban, otherwise this is just going to get ridiculous.

Attire aside, we should be focusing on the real question here. Why leave the underground and head back into the retail park? :D

Looks like a left turn only lane after retail park. Retail park entrance was behind him. This looks like it is over someone wanting to get in same lane. Standard blocking anyone getting the space kind of stuff. Why the other guy decided to jump him for it is beyond me.

If we had gun laws like the US, there would be 10 deaths a day in ireland for road rage like that. The guy that got out of his car would be like the guy in Falling Down.

Backs up my theory that you should never ever ever get out of your car to confront someone, you will usually end up with your arse kicked (in Ireland) or a bullet in your head (forden gun carrying places). People treat their cars rightly so as their private space, they should be entitled to defend it in the same way as you can protect your house with full unlimited force from any agressor.
