wonder will joe be all over that court case of the doctor who was up for murdering her daughetr now the case is over. has all the hallmarks of joes fascinations. death, attempted suicide, misery, garda involvemnet

I found listening to reports on that case very very distressful. I can only imagine how hard these events are for the family directly involved in the case. Certainly not a case that Duffy should be dealing with.

So woman doesn't really have a story of national importance but just wants a whinge/chance to tell her sob story

Woman hasn't seen son or grandchild in years even though they live close by"...................

Maybe the son has good reason for avoiding her.....or maybe not. The one thing you can be sure of with Liveline is that you will never hear the truth?

Often the truth is to be found not between the lines, so to speak, but buried in a back page, obscured by scribbles and covered in drool.

She has no 'right'to see her grandchild ,the fact she's bringing this up on liveline makes me think there's probably a very good reason .

So something very wrong or bad happened 12 years ago and this childs father decided then that this woman was never to see or have any influence over his children at any time!

Mary will never tell us why her son has done this but it will be something despicable that has brought this about as we all know that people are usually very forgiving when it comes to their children and their parents.

Probably sticking her nose in telling the daughter in law how to raise the child like most mother-in-laws (mothers-in-law)...what evs!

So will we find out what started the row or not?

Call me a fecker or not........but it'd be fantastic if he got on the radio as a Christmas surprise, and a massive row ensued.

Lahvlahn is, after all, the right place for this to be discussed.

Most mother in laws need to be sent to counselling for this , every single one does it !
