    folks,

I am considering trying to spray a book case I built.
I bought an airless spray gun previously but the results ( because I rushed it ) wasn't great.

I was considering getting some aerosol cans mixed up and trying that.

Vinny Byrns do them I hear ( although I have no idea how I will get there as he's closed whenever I am free )

    What do folks think ?

    Thanks in advance
    Rob

You don't say what you want to spray. If its varnish look no further than the Chestnut range which are available from the Carpentry Store in Naas. Why would you want to get cans 'mixed up' - like car finish paint. ? They are pretty expensive at about 25 euro last time I bought one.
Spray can lacquer finishes are not bad for small things but I have tried the polyurethane sprays and they don't seem very durable. A small compressor and spray gun are very reasonable nowadays and well worth the investment.
