Sorry, i should have clarified my response.
I think the OP was referring to the signs at the bus stops, not the displays inside the buses. As far as I know, the bus stop signs are paid for by the NTA so they don't depend on Bus Eireann's financial situation.

I'm not sure who pays for the GPS devices on the buses, so if it is Bus Eireann, their current situation might delay a further roll-out. But I think nearly all buses already have these devices on board.
