Excuse my language in this one. Taxi driver broke the red light and it was scarily close, was genuinely shook after it.

Probably too late to be suggesting this now, but if anyone with a cam was driving in Maynooth last Sunday evening around 8.30, the footage would probably be of interest to the Gardai investigating the assault on Kym Owens.

My first upload. Happened today, blue Audi overtakes on a dangerous stretch of road in a long line of traffic. Was a lot closer than it looks on video!

Nope, that was the sound of my laptop in its case flying off the seat and into the dash from the force of breaking

I'm not one to give out about speed, and that A4 was of course in the wrong, but you were going at a fair pelt there in very poor conditions. You can't even tell the A4 was on the wrong side of the road until you're within 40-50 metres of him.

I was doing 90-100 km/h but to be fair I do admit I probably should have been going slower. I was stuck behind 3 slow trucks before that that which made me impatient but I know that's no excuse.

Yeh I would have guessed about 100kph, at least you know yourself. A bizarre overtake by the Audi considering the level of traffic on his side.

Idiots lane hogging. Eventually I just gave up doing the three-lane manoeuvre and I just resorted to undertaking. Probably safer.

Flashing cars in the middle Lane is a waste of time.

True, most of them genuinely believe they are doing nothing wrong and just assume you are a lunatic.

Well 15 or so flashes is probably going to make them think either a) something really bad is going on like their car is on fire or b) F*** you pal.

1 or 2 flashes is probably the sweet spot :)

They've been racing on the wrong side of the road in their white vans for hundreds of years, I'll have you know.

Actually, it wasn't even a race. Only one sulky?

Coming home from work the other evening, tootling along at 90ish...

Not much shocks me on the roads these days but this made an impression.
(Just noticed the timestamp on my dashcam is wrong)
