Credit card address

My credit card address doesn't contain a post dose (or county or country) but I'm required to put them in for an online purchase. Could this the the reason the transaction won't complete?

Thank you for your post here on Boards.ie.

When a company asks for a post code on an online purchase you can input Eire or Irl and this should allow you to continue with your transaction. If you're still experiencing difficulty after this please let me know.
