Who will be remembered 1000 years from now

When we look back on history we still remember historical figures who died hundreds, if not thousands of years ago. We still remember leaders like Alexander The Great, Julius Caesar, Attila The Hun, Genghis Khan. We remember philosophers like Plato and Aristotle. Artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, and musicians like Beethoven and Motzart. There are plenty of other historical figures I could name but I'll leave it at that.

It's hard to say what the world with be like a thousand years from now(assuming it isn't destroyed). But I wonder what history books will say about people of today. Who has made a significant enough of an impact that their legacy will live on for thousands of years.

I guess the first name that pop into my mind, is Tim Berners Lee for inventing the World Wide Web. Of course who knows what they'll have 1000 years later, they'll probably consider the World Wide Web primitive and outdated by then.

I'd say 90% of people on the street don't know who Stonewall Jackson is now, let alone in a thousand years. Likewise Adams. As for Farage, tis but a pimple on history. Trump....remains to be seen. Lets hope Putin doesn't make fun of his hair.

Aye, Armstrong and Hitler are the only two from the 20th century that are sure to be remembered in 1000 years time.

Yuri Gagarin too, first in space is as significant as first on the Moon.

    Wright brothers maybe, and Einstein.
