    What would it be?

    I'd write a new law:

Any person, who provides or attempts to provide or conspires to provide or aids or abets the provision of nutritional or dietary information unless he or she is a qualified doctor, general practitioner, dentist, dietician or gastro-intestinal specialist shall be guilty of an offence.

Anyone found guilty of the above shall be tried on indictment and liable upon summary conviction to a prison term not exceeding 6 months or a monetary fine not exceeding €5000 or both.

In other words, "nutritionists" will be outlawed.

I'd allow women in Ireland the right to choice if hey can have an abortion and control over their bodies.

    It's a start anyway

If one person is perusing a toilet cubicle of a Monday morning, it shall be an offence for another person to use the one beside it unless all others are also in use. Any person found guilty of this offence shall be punished by a prison term of no less than six months. Said prison will contain only one cubicle for all prisoners.

That's one way to sour a promising thread...

For every new law you have to remove two old ones.

I'd make a new law anyone on the dole for over 5 years is automatically sentenced to 5 years hard larbour. Then they would know what it is like to be working for 5 years instead of sitting on their asses doing nothing.

    Amend the 8th.

Anyone who complains about people being on the dole would be forced to quit their job and banned from taking up paid employment for a period of five years.

    Outlaw feminism.

Ban the terms: libertard, cuck, sjw, mansplaining, privilege, cultural appropriation, feminazi, snowflake etc etc.

And to appease Fleawuss I would then remove the laws on blasphemy and amend the defamation laws to make free speech easier.

    (Yes, I know it's a contradiction. A delightful one. :))

I'd make it a law that everyone is assumed an organ donor. If you want to opt out you can get a small tattoo in ur armpit or between your toes.

I would ban suspended sentences , You either go to prison or you don't.

All peoples must undertake at least two years retail/customers service work.

The driving test must be retaken upon application for the first renewal of the licence.

Pubs open on Good Friday and Christmas Day, also end restrictive hours, so you can buy wine in a supermarket for a weekend dinner if doing an early shop.

No provisional driving licence, proper driving course must be completed (not the one we currently have)

    Abortion as a choice.

    Zero tolerance on drink driving

All companies should offer flextime; the effects on rush hour traffic would be huge.

Children should be forced outside to play at least 1 hour a day

Mobile phone use in cinema would be be automatic jail sentence.

Abolish short-hand writing script on forums and media, ban the bastardisation of the English language into neuvo-trendy hashtags hipsteresque flatulence and other memes, same goes for Irish for that matter! Oh and online "articles" be classified as blogs unless reviewed by more than two editors offline with adequate referencing and citation!

Mandatory sentencing terms for Murder, Rape & Sexual Assault, Aggravated Assault. No judicial discretion in these cases.

Also replace concurrent sentencing with consecutive sentencing.

Make national service an option instead of doing the leaving cert. Especially for young offenders and repeat offenders.
Also while I'm on it, make national service a means to gain grants for attending third level education, some people aren't mature enough to go to uni after that ordeal of a sham that is the leaving cert!

K, a rare, good idea from america. 3 Strikes and it's life in prison, tired of seeing people with dozens of convictions still out getting more strikes

Imprisonment/fine for any person who takes longer than one minute to use a bank machine.

As a result of this law women will be allowed withdraw money over the counter at banks 24x7.

That no boss should be allowed to impinge on an employee's weekend/ freetime by contacting them unless in the case of an emergency.
I now have "Mondayitis" hours before I should have to endure it!
